Non-adhesive intumescent flame retardant elastomer tape in black color, 0.76 mm thick. Specially developed for protection against arc and fire.

Application :

Scotch® 77 Protective Tape is designed to protect most types of electrical cables when exposed to potential failures on an adjacent cable. It swells in the fire to form a thick layer of coal between the flame and the cable. The resulting firewall acts as a barrier against heat and flame, protecting nearby cables and accessories.

Increased fire resistance of cables. Tape 77 does not propagate the flame, and on fire it produces a whitish smoke which does not reduce visibility (tunnels). Conformable and thin. Dismountable and reusable
