Cu/CuSO4 electrode

The ADCA reference electrode consists of an IEC 1010 socket connected to a copper bar bathed in copper sulfate (Cu/CuSO4).

A deresinated wooden tip (which remains wet) allows electrical contact to be made without losing liquid.

The reference electrode can be used in the field and the standard electrode must be kept in the dark and at a stable temperature.

It is used only for checking reference electrodes. Standard electrodes should not be used for field measurements and should be monitored metrologically.
